Large drive thru site was great. Hosts very obliging. Minor road noise but not enough to loose sleep over. Amenities very clean. Surprised that showers are $1 for 6 minutes, not the price is a problem but remembering to bring coins with you, would rather they add a couple of bucks to compensate. Highly recommended

From the nightly (weather permitting) communal fire where you can sit around & get to know the owners & fellow travellers ... to the awesome service. Nothing was too much trouble. When I requested a grassier site for my disabled dog ... NO WORRIES. Toilets, showers & laundry are spotless. Pets are treated like their own. Ben and Narelle even took the time to come over and say goodbye to my kelpie Rosie and I. Will DEFINATELY return. Just a shame 5 x ??s is maximum I can choose.+0

Ben and Narelle are fantastic owners who care about their surroundings, wildlife, camp ground and campers alike. Naturally they have rules but these are for everyone’s benefit and safety. Chatting to fellow campers around the campfire is a great way to meet others and hear about their travels. So much to do around Stanthorpe - Ben and Narelle will happily share their wealth of knowledge of places to see and things to do.

Due to wet weather we arrived early to book in. It was no problem for the owner Narelle who was very accomodating. On the Friday night owners Narelle & Ben arranged a camp fire. It was a great way of meeting fellow campers. Amenities are older style but very well maintained and clean. The park itself is only a 5-10 minute drive to the shops at Stanthorpe, great location. Would highly recommend this park.

We had a 2 night stay here on our way home. Nice park but it was pouring rain the whole time we were there. The region has been in severe drought for some time and the river has dried up. We would recommend+5

Our cabin was at the front of the park close to the highway, but traffic noise was much less than we first expected, not an issue at all. Short easy drive into town.

Great hands-on owners who keep an eye on everything without being invasive in any way. No problem to being asked about anything in their park or surrounds. We will definitely be back. It was very quiet. It was well presented. We were on a powered site. The river was not flowing due to the drought. We had a lovely day visiting some of the attractions. We were lucky to see one of the resident goat give birth to the cutest baby goat (Kid)+4

As I was travelling with my dog, I required pet friendly accomodation. Country Style Holiday Park is a perfect place to stay with your pets. They even have a safe fenced off leash area called Central Bark. I stayed in a cabin. Although CSHP is on the highway. It is very quiet. All the outdoor areas are well maintained and the cabins are clean and well equipped. It is obvious that Narrel and Ben take a lot of pride in what they are doing.

14natalie20196 September 2026Don’t miss this spot! Great park to base yourself and explore the many activities to do in the region. We loved the hikes at Girraween National Park. Everything was lovely and clean especially the amenities block. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Ben - the owner starts the communal fire pit most evenings. BribieGirl22 August 2026Great dog friendly park!!! My husband, dog and I have just returned home from a week at this wonderful park. Check in was great and they even gave me a printed copy of their "Dog Passport" for the Stanthorpe area which was super helpful for our outings! The park is situated on the Severn River, however, due to the current dry weather the river was very low - we hope to return once the drought conditions are over! There are 2 amenity blocks which was very convenient! Both were very clean. You are permitted to have your own firepit however there is a communal fire pit should you prefer that. A big plus for us was the off-leash area for our dog - he enjoyed going there a couple of times a day and they even provide water and doggy-doo bags! Highly recommend this park, especially if you have a pooch you travel with! Thank you to the owners - you should be very proud of your hard work!Posted on Tripadvisor

lsmatters18 August 2026A great base to explore Stanthorpe region A wonderful place to stay - amenities clean and well maintained; lovely rural setting; roomy sites and a great communal fire pit, and great value for money. But the standout would have to be hosts Ben and Narelle. They made us feel very welcome, and made our stay extremely memorable. The park is also close to the many sites and attractions that the Stanthorpe area has to offer, from hiking in the Giraween National Park, bike riding along Quart Pot Creek, the many wineries and great restaurants, and much more. The kitchen was stocked with the basics to cook. The grounds offered a nice walk down to the river, enclosed off leash dog area and fire pit! Didn’t want to leave. Short drive into Stanthorpe and to Girraween walks. Loads of wineries around the area and a great spot to base yourself. Sites are huge. Amenities are quite literally spotless. Best we’ve seen in many stays at caravan parks. The absolute icing on the cake are the awesome hosts! Ben and Narelle, you made our stay incredible. Ben’s fire pits are legendary! The wintertime is not the peak for caravaning, and the holiday park was not crowded, but the facilities were excellent and the staff extremely helpful. Clair N7 July 2026Clean and comfortable I waa booked to go qith my family, but situations changed and I went solo. Ben and Narelle were very welcoming and hospitable. The cabin was much bigger athan I anticipated, very clean, with everything needed ro make it comfortable. Middle of winter, ans rhere were heatwr blankets on the beds and heating through the aieconditioner to make the room more comfortable. The camp grounds were tidy and quiet. They pride themselves with the cleanliness of the amenities, grounds and helpful and friendly staff. The community fire is where the guest talk about their day and recommendations of where to visit, while experiencing all the area has to offer. A great location, only 15 mins south of Stanthorpe, close to wineries and many more attractions. We were made to feel welcome to join the owners and others around the communal fire each night.
