Located quite close to our holiday park is Girraween National Park. The park boasts many popular walking trails and you could easily spend an entire day exploring the region. With 17km of walking tracks, there are trails to suit every fitness level. For instance, you can take a leisurely 280m stroll to Bald Rock Creek, or challenge yourself to the 11km return walk to Mount Norman. Get some exercise while taking in the scenery.
2. Quaff your way through the best wineries in Stanthorpe
You could spend days enjoying wine tasting around Stanthorpe, as the region is home to so many great wineries. Visit Queensland’s oldest family-owned and operated winery, Ballandean Estate. This winery has been producing a fine drop since 1932. Golden Grove Estate is another award-winning winery, producing classic Shiraz and Chardonnay. These are just two of more than a dozen fantastic wineries around Stanthorpe.
3. Stroll through Quart Pot Creek

Take home some Apple Brandy, Apple Cider Vinegar, Fruit Liqueurs, and tasty jams. The establishment also has a cafe, where you can tantalise your tastebuds with homemade scones, cheese toasties and, of course, some delicious apple pie.
